This property tax receipt is intended to estimate the portion of property taxes paid by Faribault residents for City-provided services as part of the 2026 Budget. These numbers have been updated following the approval of the 2026 Preliminary Tax Levy, which now serves as the ceiling, meaning it's the maximum the City can approve during its final approval in December. The Council can reduce the levy prior to final adoption in December as expenditure assumptions are refined.

It’s important to highlight that this receipt does not consider the revenues generated by each service listed below departments.

Please note, property taxes are split among several different entities including the county, schools, Housing and Redevelopment Authorities and Economic Development Authority, each of which have their own tax levies. The amounts estimated by this tool reflect funds collected and used only by the City of Faribault.
